The Practice specialises in all types of residential projects ranging from individual houses and extensions to large scale estate planning for developers.


The Practice is pleased to offer services to individual home owners planning extensions, including loft conversions, no matter how small or large these may be. The Practice enjoys exploring with Clients the options possible to achieve their aims &, if appropriate, working on alternatives to better satisfy the initial requirements of the brief.


The Practice welcomes opportunities to work with Clients seeking to design and build their own individual houses and with developers looking to maximise the potential of individual building plots. In all cases the Practice aims to enhance initial ideas into unique designs to suit each Client's requirements and the locations of the projects.


The Practice has specialised from its outset in the conversion of redundant agricultural and industrial buildings into dwellings which develop the unique exterior and interior characteristics of these buildings whilst retaining their individual features and details. Internally the dimensions and original construction can facilitate exciting interior concepts which the Practice develops with its Clients. Projects undertaken range from individual dwellings to the conversion of ranges of buildings to provide groups of dwellings.


The Practice has designed numerous small residential developments (between 2 to 20 dwellings) for individual Clients and Housing Developers. Sites range from infill plots in urban and rural locations to the redevelopment of underutilised or redundant industrial sites in town centres. In all cases the Practice works with the Client to maximise the potential of the site whilst providing attractive dwellings and surroundings for potential purchasers.


The Practice has undertaken various local authority residential projects including both new housing and the repair and modernisation of existing developments and individual houses.


The Practice has been employed by major national housing developers to plan sites of up to 180 dwellings. The layouts may be based on a Client's own range of house types or the Practice may help in the development of these. Alternatively estates are uniquely designed to suit the developer's brief, the location and the requirements of the Local Planning Authority.
